This particular models is purportedly also a favorite of renowned musician Elvis Costello! Almost everyone who was a teenager in 1965 had a Teisco type of guitar. These guitars were sold in department stores for novice players. Gold foil pickups, Whammy bar and Original Open Back Tuners give it that 1960's "Surf" guitar vibe. Somehow this guitar found it's way to the USA.
The Audition brand was for the European (UK) market. Guitar does have play wear as can be seen in the detailed photos I've included with this listing.Īudition was one of many makes built by Teisco in Japan. Unfortunately this is missing the original vibrato arm but aftermarket ones can be found inexpensively.

Guitar includes the original owners manual which I have never seen with any other Audition guitars of this vintage.
Even the handle on the case is in great condition. Case is in great condition and all hinges and latches work properly. Outstanding Example / Includes OHSC and Case Candy - 1968 Audition ZES 70T w/ great sounding Gold Foil pickups and original hard shell case.
